The waiting list for studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units at Sacramento Senior Homes opens on April 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit www.sahahomes.org/apply for more information. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on April 15, 2026. Applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications will be available to pick up at 1501 Blake Street, Berkeley, CA 94703 at the following times: - Thursday, April 2, 2026: 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm;
- Monday, April 6, 2026: 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm;
- Wednesday, April 8, 2026: 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm.
Paper applications must be mailed to the address listed on the application. Applications submitted by mail must be received by 5:00 PM on April 15, 2026. A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The top 300 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. If additional applications are needed, we reserve the right to process the next applications in lottery order. Applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications will be available to pick up and drop off at 80 W. - Tuesday, April 7, 2026: 10am – 1pm.
